The game is simpleyou will open, read, and reply to the letters you receive at Eadly Hall. However, family, duty, and grief are not simple at all, and you will make hard decisions about the future to come.

You can play My Late Father’s Correspondence by yourself or with two playersAs the letters you receive arrive over time, you can enjoy an unfolding story over days or weeks of real life play, or binge the game like your favourite drama series.

The game has been painstakingly compiled, with 70+ pages of detailed handwritten letters and documents. Even the ink colours, stationary, and postmarks stamped on each letter have been historically researched and considered, giving clues about those who you will interact with and their world. We hope you will enjoy the details which bring the story of the game to life.

Is this for me?

My Late Father’s Correspondence is a bittersweet family drama, contemplative in tone and at times quietly tragic. It is rooted in the struggles of living day to day, so you won’t find any murder-mysteries or occult secrets contained within. Lean into your emotions and write with your heart.

If you enjoy historical or interactive fiction, this game might just be your cup of tea. It’s perfect if you’re craving an interactive literary experience to immerse you in a compelling story. And if you love a drama tone game of Good Society, or enjoy its epistolary phase, we really think this might be for you.
